HANA Licensing for Datawarehouse & Business Suite on HANA Solutions

Hello Experts,

Further to below SCN discussion on HANA Licensing,

Could you clarify if the SAP Business Suite on HANA License (i.e. ECC powered by HANA & not S/4 HANA) is already procured.

And if we are not planning to implement BW on HANA

Does the customer needs to purchase separate License for the following ?

1) Native HANA Datamart (i.e. HANA as a Datawarehouse) implementation  (we would like to create few tables and then views)

2) SLT

3) HANA Live - RDS Solution

Here is the information I received.

If ECC on HANA (i.e. Business Suite on HANA) License is procured. Then, HANA Datamart (or Datawarehouse) is covered as part of the License.

However, the replication technologies such as SLT, BODS will not be part of the License.

Also, was informed DXC, which connects to BW datasources in ECC system can be leveraged to bring the data into HANA tables (for datawarehouse).

Kindly confirm.
