Master Data Load - Fatal Error

Hi,

I'm trying to load a Custom Master Data in our project IBP 5 server.

I'm getting the following error:

BATCH        MSGTYPE        MSGID        MSGLONG        MSG       

27        E        6        Could not read file        For batch ID 27         unable to read file.  Reason: Fatal error. More info in table /IBP/IMTCLOG.

Is there a way to get access the mentioned table (/IBP/IMTCLOG)?

I've seen the two different post on the subject in the forum ... I'm still not sure what are my options.

The .csv file was created via the IBP Data Integration template.

Hi Marc,

When the integration log is too long, it gets truncated to "Fatal error. More info in table /IBP/IMTCLOG". Most of the time I have seen this error connected with wrong delimiter : csv delimiter vs the one selected in the job import dialog. If delimiter is ok, I would recommend to raise an incident.

Moreover you could also try to load data directly from excel UI.

Hi,

I was not able to load in Excel either, but I found the issue. It was my fault as I forgot to select root attributes in my Planning Area for those Master Data elements.

I had the same issue so your answer was very helpful. Out of interest had you copied from an SAP PA? I had copied from SAP2 and although the attributes were marked as root in SAP2 in the copy some of them werent! Affected PRDID and LOCID.
