Maintenance Planner / Landscape Fetch Errors

Former Member

Hi

The System Data in Maintenance Planner is outdated.

The Job LANDSCPAE_FETCH seems to run succesful (SM37). However, I was trying to use Maintenance Planner Application and realised the system data there is outdated (last update: August 2014)

Then I started digging, which led me to SLG1 / AI_LMDB / SUPPORT_PORTAL_SYNC

Here it says:

Systems to be synchronized determined

Sending 18 systems to SAP Support Portal

The following error messages have been returned by SAP Support Portal:

The system constellation is empty

Detailed system information are required if you want to upload data to the Maintenance planner and work with the system(s) there

See http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-49527 ->

Uploading, Accessing, and Trouble-Shooting ...

Sent

Synchronized: 0 systems synchronized, 18 systems failed

I can upload data successfully to SAP Support Portal via LMDB -> Product System Maintenance.

CR content is current SP11

LMDB says "Status OK"

Do you guys have any idea why data upload to Support Portal is not working as expected?

BR

Michael

Hello Michael,

Can you please check following sap note for reference:-

2177157 - Uploading system data in Solution Manager 7.2 SP01

Hi Anand,

thank you.

Unfortunately, the note is not valid for Solman 7.1 (report AI_SC_UPLOAD_SYSTEM_DATA does not exist) and it has no information on what could be done to solve the errors I get.

Michael

Thanks for the hint.

I already read note 2002546, and as I said manual upload as described there is possible.

However. the question is why the automatic snychronisation via LANDSCAPE_FETCH does not work.

Again, if I execute RSGET_SMSY in dialog the synchronisation takes place without errors.

Maybe its a permission issue? The job is planned with Step-USer SOLMAN_BTC, whereas if I execute the report RSGET_SMSY it runs with SAP_ALL...

HI, I think it's a little bit late but I had the same problem.

The step RSGET_SMSY was running with STEP-USER SOLMAN_BTC, after replacing the USER with SOLMAN_ADMIN the JOB was running without errors.

Best regards

Dear Michael,

Please read KBA 2323260. If this solve the authorization issue, change the user back to SOLMAN_BTC.

btw, i'm on Solman 7.1 SP14.

Different errors (S:SERVICECONNECTIONS:063) occured in another Solution Manager 7.1 SP9.

I ran report RSGET_SMSY in dialog and everything went fine. I'll wait now for the next execution of Landscape Fetch, maybe the errors are resolved then.

The executions in BATCH via job LANDSCAPE FETCH executed with error again.

Can anyone assist?
