Budget AVAC not activated on WBS

Hi Experts,

Budget AVAC is not executing in cj20n.

Even though I have manitained '1' in budget profile , AVAC activation while giving budget.

On wbs BUDG is coming but AVAC is not coming.

I have already eplored existing thread but could not locate this issue amongst them.

Please suggest where I have missed you.

yes, I have  mantained the tolerance profile.

Have also run CJbv, cjbw as well.

have you maintained budget and released it? pls try to release  the budget from CJ32 and try.

also try by activating release checkbox in budget profile.

Hi Rohit,

Based on your setting in budget profile, no need to tick/activate the release checkbox (if it is not part of your business process) and no need to release in CJ32.

Just ensure that you have posted budget (tcode CJ30) for the project you are using.

You cannot have AVAC if BUDG is not yet active in at least 1 of the WBS elements of the project (and when you post budget, AVAC will automatically be activated).

If you like to have AVAC status even if budget has not been posted, you can activate sap note 599813 and have AVAC with tcode CJBN.

If that is not your error/problem, try checking

  1: if you have user status which prohibits activation of avac

  2. ensure that the project you have is using the budget profile

  3.  revert, and we can check other possible issues...

Also, in your setting for tolerance limit, no need for the 2 lines with Tr Group "06" since this is already covered by the "++" setting..

Thanks Gurus,

I have posted the Budget in cj30 before posting the ticket.

We need to have control at CRTD status. I deactivated the AVAC and again activated, now its working.
