SAP Hana 1.0.102 refreshed by older version 1.0.85: what to do?

Dear Guys,

our SAP HANA of quallity assurance (version 1.0.102) was refreshed through homogeneous system copy of our production server that was still at version 1.0.85.

The version of quality assurance saphana still is 1.0.102 however it does not have any more the features of sap hana 1.0.102.

What to do to get again the features of 1.0.1.02?   I have applyed patch 1.0.102 again however it does not solved the problem.

I have attached two screenshots to show that before the refresh this application was version 1.100.18 and after the refresh it's now version 1.8.6. How to upgrade this version again to 1.100.18?

It should help to import the 102 delivery units again.

In SAP HANA Modeler:

Import -> SAP HANA Content -> Delivery Unit

They are located at /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/hdb/auto_content.

Dear Josef,

is it ok to import all the files tgz from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/hdb/auto_content?

AHCO_INA_SERVICE.tgz  HANA_UI_INTEGRATION_1_SVC.tgz  HANA_XS_EDITOR.tgz  HDC_IDE_CORE.tgz  SAPUI5_1.tgz  YHANA_SEC_BASE.tgz
HANA_DT_BASE.tgz  HANA_UI_INTEGRATION_2_CONTENT.tgz  HANA_XS_IDE.tgz HDC_SEC_CP.tgzSAP_WATT.tgz  YHANA_SEC_CP.tgz
HANA_IDE_CORE.tgz HANA_XS_BASE.tgz               HANA_XS_LM.tgz  HDC_XS_BASE.tgz   YHANA_BACKUP.tgz  ZHANA_ADMIN.tgz

I suppose they all are imported during upgrade.

Anyway, there won't be any harm if you import one that wasn't there before.

But in case you prefer to double check, here's a query how to see what's currently in, so you can compare versions:

select * from "_SYS_REPO"."DELIVERY_UNITS"

Hi Helio.

There are some considerations you must have before using the backup, such as the one bellow.

But in your case you used the backup in a higher version, so it must be related to configuration that goes with the source DB.

Any special reason for having QAS and PRD in different versions?

Our forum collegues probably will help you with this issue.

Dear Osvaldo,

the reason to different versions is just that we did not have maintenance window to upgrade the production server.

Do you have any clue about to fix the configurations at recovered QAS server?

Dear guys,

another evidence that despite the saphana is 1.0.102 the engines used are from 1.0.85:

the version of sapui5 is 1.22.9 (SAP Hana 1.0.85) instead of 1.28.5 (SAP Hana 1.0.102)
