migration from pi 7.11 to po 7.4

hi,

I have a small query.

1]     is it possible to  connect to ABAP proxies in the ECC backend from PO 7.40; as PO 7.40 is based only on the JAVA stack.I have many proxy scenarios in pi 7.11 .will they work in po 7.4?

if yes,what all changes we have to make for it to work?

2]  is it possible tp leverage the existing service interface developments from PI 7.11 to PO 7.40

Hi Sahana,

1) Yes you can connect ECC system using SOAP adapter with XI 3.0 protocol, check below document for more details.

2) You can use all your PI 7.1 proxy interfaces and their developments in PO 7.4 only change is previously you communicate to ECC via XI adapter, now in PO 7.4 you will connect to ECC using SOAP adapter. Check below blogs for configuration steps.
