Hi, does anyone know how to migrate primary identifiers when using an .OOM?

I can define attributes as being primary identifiers in an OOM, but I can't see how to migrate them.

Hello Georgia, have you marked the association as Navigable in the detail tab of the Association properties?

Hi George, thanks for picking up this question. Yes, I have marked the association as navigable both ways, and for both the 'parent' and 'child' classes the Migrated Attribute box contains the text <None>, is non-editable and the properties icon is greyed out and can't be selected.

Sorry Georgia, but I don't use the OOM myself. I tried it myself yesterday, and it looks like what you've done should work OK, though it also didn't work for me. Perhaps someone from SAP or another UML modeller will be able to explain what's happening.

Hello,

Right-click the association and select migrate Navigable Roles.
It migrates the attribute (see Class B in Detail page).

HTH,

Arnaud
