Hi all,
we have a SAP Hana 1.0 rev 85 in a scaleout installation (5 nodes + 1
standby)
We want to test the backup with third party (HP DataProtector) but at
the
moment we are not satisfy regarding the duration.
We understand that at the moment we are using only one drive on HP
DataProtector but in the configuration we set to use 4 drives.
We thought that every nodes in the scale out may create a stream with
backint to dataprotector , but this is not done.
The backup is running… (the size of the backup is 3.5TB)
But on HP Dataprotector console I find only a drive used
and this the configuration on HP Dataprotector
Do you have any suggestion for us?
Thank you and kind regards
HI.
Please take a look at this doc.

For a HANA scale out system, HP seems to have a new tool. HP STore Once.

Hi Davide.
Whta is the version of your DataProtector?
Based in your HANA release there is a HP Dataprotector version.
If your HANA DB release is supported by your HP Dataprotector release please contact the support.
Please take a look at this:

Hi,
the version of HP Dataprotector is 8.13
but, at the moment, it seems that SAP Hana create only one channel to dataprotector.
For example,
for rev 110 it's possibile to create a multristream backup (because before this, HANA create only one stream)
but my question is regarding a scaleout system: during a backup, how many process are created?is it possibile to increase this number?
