ccBPM Design PI 7.3

Hi All

We have a PI system with 50 separate ccBPM's which all do the same thing except they represent 50 different external systems.

It seems like the reason why it was done this way was to make it easier to monitor since they are named like this PriceBPM_<external system name>.

My question is would it be more efficient and better design to create one ccBPM to represent all the systems and just do some routing logic in it for each different system? Would it still be easy to identify issues with each separate system?

Thanks

Riaz

Hi Riaz,

You can create one BPM, with this one BPM you can still achieve differentiation in the configuration by creating receiver determination and sender agreements with virtual receiver like below.

Hello Riaz,

Development time will be more for 50 CCBPM patters,Since you have 50 different CCBPM already implemented, from performance point of view if the same represents or different CCBPM represents the performace will be same.

And from monitoring also it will be easy and also debugging since each flow is differect and easily identifiable.
