Dear QM experts,
I have made a test about For usage decision and At lot creation in DMR, but I didn't see any difference between them on quality level. Could you please give me a example to explain the difference about For usage decision and at lot creation ? Your suggestion will be appreciated, many thanks.
Regards,
Steve
Hi,
Example for option no. 1:
Suppose you created one lot and you did RR with all MIC as accepted and you have skip functionality for the Lot or some MICs.
Result: After the UD The next lot will come up with updated Quality score and with inspection stage change as per your settings. but if new Lot is triggered without UD then no inspection stage change and will bring normal inspection lot.
Example for option no. 2: Suppose you did RR on first Lot with all MICs as accepted and UD is still not done, next lot would come up with new stage change (with updated quality score).

S Ahmed

Valuation is done as soon as lot is create. Inspection is assumed to be successful and its then checked whether a stage is required or not
If at UD the lot is rejected, the system then records an unsuccessful inspection
DMR at UD :
the stage change is decided based on the UD taken
In most of the cases, DMR at UD is preferred
