Saplogon.ini file not showing after the Gui 740 installation (Windows 10)

Dear Experts,

After I installed GUI 740 in my laptop (wind 10 os), i went to migrate the saplogon.ini files from other system to my laptop.

but there is no saplogon.ini files shown in the default folder,

so how could i replace the configuration file. there is only one .xml file is showing, that which i created manually on the pad.

is there anyway to get my old configurations back by replacing.

i hope u guys will find a solution.

Hello John,

This coulld be because of NWBC. If you uninstall NWBC and run SAP GUI I think local files will come to their place. (You could need to uninstall both NWBC and SAP GUI and reinstall SAP GUI. I am not sure about this)

Hello Yüksel,

Thanks for your help. Its worked me.

What i did is...

First i uninstalled the whole gui and its components,

then deleted the configuration files from the Default folder,

after that again installed the gui front end. not the NWBC.

then i copied my old configuration files(which i want) to the default folder.

Problem solved.

Hello,

not sure if uninstall is really required. I just deleted/renamed saplogon.ini in new laptop at "C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common" and copied file from old laptop and it worked.
