HTTP and HTTPS in SAP PI 7.4

We currently have a PI 7.4 system. In one of our development our requirement is to develop a webservice for HTTPS communication.

Is is possible to enable HTTPS communication selectively for some interfaces ?

if yes, can somebody please provide us the guideline to implement.

Hello Shweta,

HTTPs port is enabled for your whole PI server. Once it is enabled, you will have 2 ports, to which 3rd parties can connect. One port would be a normal HTTP port and another would be your HTTPs port.

To enable HTTPs communication for a particular interface, provide HTTPs URL only for those 3rd parties.

Just create another channel for the https interface. You can select this channel in the ICO.
