Hi!
We want to track e-mail (newsletter) conversion by adding campaign id to URL's that are generated. This way, when email receiver has clicked on the URL and placed an order, web shop will know the campaign id and will return back with an interaction to hybris Marketing.
Is this a standard functionality for campaigns? If not, how we can modify it?
We want to see under Campaign "General Information" how many sales orders aka business transactions have been created based on the e-mail we sent out.
Are interactions with campaign (initiative id) considered in this analytical view? If not, how we can modify it?
Best regards,
Maris
Hi,
The following functionality may support your use case:
In the campaign content / email form, when inserting a hyperlink, you can check the 'Add Outbound ID' flag. Then an outbound id is added as a parameter to the URL in the outbound email.
This outbound Id is also persisted in the corresponding interaction of type EMAIL_OUTBOUND that is written during sending out emails (field SOURCE_OBJECT_ID). So, once a user clicks, you are able to identifiy the corresponding outbound interaction and thus the correcponding campaign, interaction contact etc.
Best regards,
Frank
