you might succeed, but after all it's NOT supported by sap...so you'd better not use this one for production

Hi,

as far as I know a Small Business Server <i>has</i> to be a Domain Controller stringently. If it is not it will shutdown after I think about 100 minutes.

So a SAP system and a Domain Controller on the same machine isn't a good thing regarding the aspect of security of your domain/user-data.

Hi Rajender,

Netweaver 04s is supported by sap on the following operating system

Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3); Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 1) or Windows Server 2003

Hi there,

it depends what are you installing and for which purpose.

If you install any productive system (ABAP or Java), what will be supported is only Windows 2003.

Minimum version is W2K3 Standar Edition. If you want High Availability , you have to go offcourse for Enterprise or Data Center Editions etc.

it is always good to check PAM (product availabiliy matrix)
