Hello,

I installed Model Manager 2.4 on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I log on with user Admin via URL http://localhost:8443/Factory/index.jsp. Then I see

So the administrator panel cannot be expanded. If I click the administrator panel, an "Access Denied" is thrown:

What went wrong?

Hi, I think I know :-).

See

  • I cannot edit Administration settings


If there is no triangle in front of Administration, it is likely that the database initialization failed during the installation.

Open a command prompt as administrator again and go to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP Predictive Analytics\Model Manager 2.x\EXE and type: webtools_db_init.bat factory


Once it is finished, restart Services and try login again as Admin.

It asks you to execute a script. Be careful when selecting or typing the name of this executable. It iswebtools_db_init.bat - don't forget to add factory after it.
