Availability Control on WBS element during CAT7

Hello PS experts,

For one of my client I have configured PS projects with WBS of different types.

We have 2 types of level 1 WBS elements:

- One type  (Type 1) with availability control activated: in fact budgeting is done for those WBS elements with availability control. Everything works well.

- One type (Type 2) with NO availability control activated: budgeting is not done for those WBS elements. Actuals can be put on those WBS without problem eventhough there is no budget. This is thanks to user status I have configured "NAVC" which forbids availability control.

However I have one problem for Type 2: invoices, PO can be done without budget but while executing CAT7 I have an error message which tells that that budget is exceeded.

No availability control should happened for Type 2.. Any ideas?

Hi Sanaa,

not sure as I did not test so can you please check in status profile is there any business transaction for time sheet as well? if yes then select that also over there in status profile so that system could not check the budget for time sheet also.

I haven't found any business transaction related to availability control for timesheet..
