How to hide the auto generated Alert ID in the alerts? Please help!

Hi Experts,

I am using teh RFC function module SALERT_CREATE to generate email alert.

But at the top of my email body I can see an auto generated alert ID.

Is it possible to hide it or disable it from generating? How can I do it?

Please help me.

you know what is mean by Alert Id . how to create alert id .

In the Alert Category in ALRTCATDEF --> Go to Setting --> Confgiruation and there you will have an option to suppress the alert id.

Dont remember the Exact option but remember you can do this here.

I am sure there is such an option.

I have used it. Just dont know the exact name of that option, but like I told go the Setting --> Confgiguration and in the window that opens , you will have the option to deselect the alert id.

Do not have access to alrtcatdef on my current XI box else would have given exact details.
