Emails not getting triggered for ARM requests suddenly

Hi All,

We are getting a very weird issue .Our emails were getting triggered for all the modules but suddenly emails are not getting triggered for ARM requests now otherwise we did received emails from BRM requests.

What can be the reason behind this please help me to find the real issue for this and what needs to be checked for the same.

GRC AC 10.1 SP8

Is BRM and ARM activities, on the same SAP system. If yes, the problem lies with  ARM workflows. If not, then ask your Network team, to check the IP address of ARM system to Email Network

Hi Pradeep ,

check tcode scot for mail sending configuration and sost for checking the message status .

if in sost u find the message is displayed then ask ur IT team further support.

Hi Sabir,

We checked that and both are working fine and as told earlier  BRM workflow emails are triggered and successfully received  and ARM workflows emails were working fine 5 days back but suddenly it stopped working and we not able to find what is the reason behind of sudden stoppage of emails for one particular workflow.

Hi Pradeep,

Ask your IT team , there might be some issue with security or firewall.Follow up with your IT team , when they do some SMTP setting in server there some authorization need to be given from there END.

Hi Pradeep ,

Plz check the sender email address and ask your IT person if he has allowed that email ID to send email via SMTP.

Can you check if the emails are appearing in SBWP Inbox for the approver ?

Hi Pradeep,

You can try executing GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD , enter grc no as external key display and view the notifications tab. This will contain details of the event triggered and issues encountered.

You might also like to check SOST and email id in SU01 of the recipient as they could be the reason as well.

Other than that check for activation of document objects in SE61   and their mapping in the custom notification table.

Is it happening for specific users/events/templates? That question might help give a direction as well.

I checked this t-code in the notifications tab it is empty.So how do I know what is the issue.

For SOST it says message sent successfully to the recipient.

Also checked SU01 which is fine.

Also to add to this is that it was working fine till 5 days back and we haven't changed anything in the system .BRM Workflow emails are getting generated and getting sent to the Approver and the recipient successfully.

So that is why we are getting confused why selectively it is sending the mails.

You have to click on refresh button to get the logs if they are not auto populated..

besides do you mean that in SOST you can see email sent to recipient for GRC request? If that's the case then there is nothing wrong with GRC config.
