Stop TR Auto import for Urgent Corrections in ChaRM

Hi Experts,

I have a business requirement to stop the auto import of transport requests (to QA system) for urgent corrections temporarily in Solution Manager 7.1 sps11.

I have tried to work with task list and other similar stuff but I couldn't find anything fruitful.

Can you please let me know if it is possible to stop the TR auto import to QA system when the status is changed to "To Be Tested" from "In Development" for temporary purpose.

Hi Rahul,

I think, it's depending on your overall target.

If you just want to pause the imports, and continue the import later, then you have various options:

1. Advise User not to set the respective status within the Urgent Correction
2. Do not run the import job in the QA system
3. In the tasklist, lock the QA Systems / the tasks for these systems
4. In the action definitions, deactivate the corresponding actions
5. If possible, set the status of the task list to a value that doesn't allow any imports

I believe, all of the above still enables a later, correct import of the change done.

Yes Rahul. It is possible to Stop the Auto TR Import into the QA system by removing the Action IMPORT_TEST for your Urgent change transaction type in Change Request Management Framework --> Make settings for Change Transaction type.
