Hi Experts,

can any one explain what is planning area back up and why we will use

and directly how do you upload the data from ECC to apo

and if we have sales history in xl file  how do you assign it to directly to planning area keyfigures

Hi;

I pasted few screen shots how the planning area backup can be taken and data stored in Infocubes. Refer it and let me know if still not clear the process.

and coming to the point Data transfer process from ECC to APO it can be done multiple ways one way is through Core Interface by building the Integration Models and other way through BW objects.

You are asking multiple questions on one thread.:-)

Please find below the steps for Planning area back. You mainly take backup to save your data in case you have issues with Live cahce.

You can surely load the data from ECC-->APO using BW data techniques for Demand planning.-
