OS Memeory utilization 99 percent in SAP PO

Hi

I checked the System overview in SAP NWA and I see the OS memory utilization 99 percent and it is in red.

What could be the reason? How do I rectify it?

We have a similar problem but this system just came up for the first time.  Anyone know why Memory Utilization shows at 98%?

Hi Midhun,

You need to take out the heap dump of the system and check the dump MAT tool.

MAT tool will give you the idea of memory usage and memory leak.

Moreover you need to check whether the full GC is occuring more frequent or not.

If full GC is occuring more frequently , then you need to adjust the memory parameter accordingly.

1. You can check at OS level which process takes more resources(CPU & Memory).

2. Check the SAP SM66 / SM50 workprocess status? Is this any error message in SAP log SM21, any runtime in ST22.

did you check inn tcode /st06 regarding cpu utilisation ? what is it showing there ?
