Namesearch issue in MDM catalog

Hi All,

We have a requirement to setup two separate internal catalogs for same vendor due to different category. This we can achieve by having two Namsearch for the same supplier and update call structure with different name search to segregate the catalog data.

However, name search is not working as expected and showing same number of items in each name search. What would be the issue? Can we segregate catalog data in some other way? Please advise.

Hi Sunil,

as it is not possible to check the search criteria in case of a saved named searches the best way is to recreate them. First you have to create a new namedsearch and than you can save the choosed items to this group.

do you see the same number in the Data Manager or on the Search UI?

If you have this issue in the Data Manger you have to recreate the named searches.

If you have this issue only on the Search UI than check your call structure according this wiki page:

http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/GYM8Fg

The parameter should be maintained before the HOOK_URL and it is case sensitive.

Hi Anita,

Call structure is maintained correctly. The issue is in Data manager which shows same number of items for two different name search.
