Hi

Inspection plan of material have two characteristics. Each characteristic have sample procedure based on percentage of 10%. The lot quantity is 100 pcs, so inspection sample is 10 pcs for both MIC. Now the requirement is,

For 1st MIC, if defect found in 1 sample (out of 10), system should accept it and if more than one, then system should reject it.

For 2nd MIC, if even one sample is found defective, MIC should be rejected.

Two sampling procedure are create

  1. %10-%1 sampling procedure with Sampling type as Percentage sample with valuation mode “Attributive inspection nonconf. Units” The Sample size is 10% and AccNo. As % 1
  2. %10-%0 sampling procedure with Sampling type as Percentage sample with valuation mode “Attributive inspection nonconf. Units” The Sample size is 10% and AccNo. As % 0

Based on above, assumption is, that with sampling procedure %10-%1, if one pc is defected, MIC will be accepted. If more than 1 pc are defected, MIC will be rejected. But this is not happening. Any thing missed out ?

%10-%0 sampling procedure is working fine, and that is ‘0’ defect, MIC accepted and ‘1’ defect, MIC rejected.

Hi,

Please make sure that all master data is well assigned like the procedure in the quality plan and so on.

Additionally, verify if you have destructive characteristics or not.

I don't see any other possible reason.

Do you have any custom development around QM module ?

Regards,

Ayoub.
