Unable to open NWDS

I copied the NWDS from a working system to my laptop through my phone. I installed it again on my laptop. I have JDK 1.8 on my machine

I am not able to open NWDS. When I try to open, I am not getting any error also.

I click on the exe file and it doen'st just open.

I have insgtalled the same NWDS a week back and uninstalled it.

Hello Midhun,

As suggested by Eng, NWDS 7.31 needs JDK 1.6. Please find the below blog from Avinash for the jdk version and the link to be downloaded from -

Hi Midhun

JDK 1.8 is not compatible with NWDS 7.31. You'd need JDK 1.6 from either Sun/Oracle or SAP - I'd suggest SAP based on my own experience.

I'd suggest reading the "Installation" section of my following blog to get some pointers on setting up NWDS properly.

which version of NWDS your trying to open?.

Might be the version ur trying is not compatible with JDK.
