Hello all
As a beginner learning application development in SAP HANA an currently learning the data modeling techniques in HANA. (E.g creating attr analytical views etc). Is data modeling done only during the implementation I.e setting up of HANA or is it an ongoing process based on business requirements(like how we develop reports etc). Also when do we use CDS and AMDPs?
Also so also as an application consultant is it important toknow how to model data or is it sufficient to understand the techniques.
thanks
meera
Hello Meera,
Here is the Step-by-Step Guide of SAP HANA Modeling to understand the techniques.
You will also know about Use of HANA Studio to create various SAP models, packages and Views.
What does the Quick Launch Pad of the HANA studio look like and the functions it supports.

Hi Meera.
It´s an ongoing process based on business requirements,( that, as we know, are constantly changing)
SAP Hana technology brings a great performance and a different aproacg to the process, so to take full advantage of this, you should have knowledge of the model and the techniques. They work together.
Regards.
