HUB Approach- Customizing Data movement.

Hi All,

  We are installed new MDG on HANA system and next step is to get the customizing from ERP system, we observed that ERP is having lot of additional Add-on's like GRC etc... and some components are on low level compare to MDG system.

  Now what will be best approach to get the customizing data from ECC to MDG , I see that updating ERP and MDG is time taking process and lot of additional add-on's need to be installed in MDG box and which will   take  additional resources .

   Please guide me to move forward.

Hi,

You can use BC-Set to move the configuration from ERP to MDG.

1.Create a BC-Set in SCPR3 tcode.Add your ERP TR in BC-Set.

2.Download the BC-Set from ERP and upload the same in MDG using SCPR3 tcode.

3.Activate the BC-Set in MDG using SCPR20 tcode.Then save configuration in MDG TR.

Hi

If you have Solman then the best way is to use Solman and synchronize all the tables. You need to share the path (view tables) with the basis team. They can use synchronization cockpit to move all the config data from ECC to MDG hub.
