Hi,

my requirement is to schedule time interval(12 noon to 1pm-daily) for a ftp to sftp scenario.

1. do I need to schedule the time only for sender channel? and what about the receiver channel?

2. there are like 2 start dates and 2 end dates at the top with different dates in it...and what is end by date?

As your sender (which picks the files ) get's stopped then your receiver has got no business right?

you can but you don't need to maintain the schedule.

in entries tab, there is again start date and end date mentioned?what is that for?

That is to display the entries and activities of that time period.

Enter start and end time, you can see the activities of the channel configured.
