HANA System Access for HA200/250

I want to learn HANA technical and get certified in HA 200 (Installation & Operation) and HA 250 (Migration).

Anybody  knows how to get the access for a test HANA system to practice the exercises in these courses apart from

official SAP training. I know there is HANA system access from SAP but that is only for BW development I think.

Any help regarding this is appreciated. Thank you.

thanks for the answers, I have another query now, I see that C_HANATEC152 based on SP10  is not released yet but there is another exam C_HANATEC_10 based SP10.What is the difference between C_HANATEC_10 and C_HANATEC151(2) exams ? your reply is appreciated.

here is the list of the current available certifications:

The certifications were renamed from C_HANAXXX<year><half of the year> : C_HANATEC151

to

codes finish with the HANA SPS number: C_HANATEC_10

So their won't be a C_HANATEC152 or C_HANATEC161!

Also new is the delta certification, but read more at the official document:

C_HANATEC151 based on SPS9

C_HANATEC_10 based on SPS10

This should anwer your question.

Hi.

If you go for official SAP training you will get access to the HA200 documentation. Thats the only way to get the latest and updated docs for certification.

You can also use the sap docs for each SAP Hana release and study from there. These docs are free for download.

The Administrator Guide has almost all the topics from the HA200.

As for a system to test, I think that you still can have access to SAP HANA in the cloud. (you will only have to pay for the hosting (AMAZON, Azure,...) Search for it.

Hello, Thanks a lot for the reply. Actually my concern is regarding the SAP HANA test system access for doing the hands on. I want a confirmation  if the SAP HANA access we get by paying is enough for  practicing the exercises in HA200/250.As far as I know,this HANA system access is meant for BW developers  for doing development work and not for Technical consultants for practicing administration/other activities in the technical area. Please clarify.

As per my understanding, the test system can be tricky to get a hold of.

You may find more info here but from what I have seen so that the test system is not needed to pass the exam. Simply reading through the documentation will be enough for you to pass the exam, but I do agree having a test system would be great for the modelling aspect of the exam. Having delivered the HA100 to people myself I can notice the vast difference in the uptake of the knowledge when a practical approach is taken.

There is also some very good sites with practice / mock questions available for download (at a price).

You will have access to Hana through SAP Hana Studio in your PC.

1 - Install SAP HANA Studio in your PC.

2 - Create an account in the cloud

3 - Connect your SAP HANA Studio to the cloud instance.

for H200 related Certification (C_HANASUP_1 or C_HANATEC_1...) you have to have some experience with the HANA Studio, and you can achive that doing this.

You will not be able to do all the exercises in the books because they were made for a specific classroom envoirement, where sap hana system are configured just for that purpose.

Read all the docuemntation and try to understand it, at the same time open Hana studio and look arround for the things you are reading, that´s more important than doing the exercises.

Just my opinion.
