BOM explosed and partner function of subitem is wrong

Hi Friends,

I have a case which need your help.

I have a BOM item in sales order. I exploded the BOM item as normal. But I checked the partner function of sub-items and found that the partner function of sub-items are not inherited from BOM item, it got from sales order header? Do you have any idea for this case?

Standard SAP does not provide partner determination on item level.

In case you need a functionality to determine item partners from the main item, you will need to request for custom development.

Hi Peykova,

Yes, you are rite. That is standard behavior as my test in my IDES and my live system.

But I have other system and the partner function is copied from higher-level item even there is no customization in function modules CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 as far as my investigation.

I may need to check deeper. Really appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Really appreciate your input for this concern. I am still finding the way to transfer partner function of high-level item to sub-item during BOM explosion.
