Hi all
I have few questions regarding the MI certification topics.. Maximum topics are covered in MDK.
Below are the few topics I am bit confused which one to go through..
- Development Process
Mobile Landscape
Development Tools
- UI Programming
UI Programming Models
MI specific UI programming
- Other MI services
Miscellaneous MI Services
Software Development Lifecycle
If any of you could clarify the above topics and what materials (Links) to go through, that would be great
Thanks
Raj
Hi Raj,
I guess you are preparing hard for MI certification. help and sdn is all that serves. Let me try to help you with few links you need.
look at this first https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/011000358700002804762004E#i2
Development Process: if you are looking for development of applications you can find it in SDN. For Ex Persistance app; this will help you understanding how to use the Persistance API. but you wil have to work around a lot in order to understand it.
you can develop applications in NWDS. download the sample in SDN import and scan the code & customize.
Mobile Landscape: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/126a92b2452ba8e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
listen to this session

MI specific UI programming :
if you want to master this. its again by practise. you develop client UI using JSPs and AWT. preferrably JSPs.

Software Development Lifecycle
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/126a92b2452ba8e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
at the end i would say. read the concepts in MI portals and practise the examples try to understand how the APIs are used.like how you get handles and jow do u acces Middleware data. about miscellaneous MI Services you can always google.
Hope this gives you an idea.
Regards
Divya

Hi Raja,
Certification materials are not in depth as mentioned in MDK.
And MI specific UI is just JSP/AWT.
Webdynpro is next future for MI.
But as far as certification is concerned. Try to get the touch and feel of the concepts around.
Concentrate more on
1) Generic sync applications.
2) Smart sync applications.
3) Using Persistence APIs.
Try to get the concepts from middleware/client side developments.
4) Adminstration part which is a separate material TMOB20.
Remaining things are additional but needed to clear certification.
If you can master the above...you can clear certification...remaining lessions you can go through easily...
Hope this is helpfu..
Cheers,
Karthick
