HI,

We are configuring SSL for SAP EP(NW 7.02) on windows plate form.

We have SSL V3 certificate for entire domain(wild card used), and same certificate i am directly importing in visual admin via import CSR response, but it is giving error as below:

Please suggest how to import SSL certificate.

Tarun

Hello Tarun,

There is a good chance it is not a CSR response at all, so please try the Load Entry option.

Then enter the password if the certificate is password protected and it will be loaded successfully.

I have to note that the actual filename you want to import should not contain any special characters, ie: spaces, etc. Modify the filename to a simple one and load it then.

When you are done, select this certificate in the dispatcher node for the appropiate port.

The last step would be to import the root CA certificate into the browser and you are done.

Best Regards,

Peter

Thanks Peter.

Can you please also suggest, in case of SAP webdispatcher how to configure SSL.

Suppose i have url "http:\\xyz.com", when i logged on it, redirects me on java application server.

I have imported SSL on each java application server, but if i access above url as https it do not work.

Please suggest.

Hi Tarun.

Refer the SAP Note 1157248 - symptom number 6 with error message "javax.crypto.badpaddingexception invalid pkcs#1 padding"
