Avaliability check screen on the sales order

Hello,

I need some information about Normal sales order and MTO sales order, In MTO sales order why avaliability check screen will not be displayed MTO sales order like in normal sales order as there is no stock, both uses same Schedule line category CP in which availability check will be maintained. kindly explain the logic.

Hello,

It depends upon planning strategy requirement class setting

In MTO (not assemble-to-order) sales order availability check to confirm against lead time during Sales order entry.  No further ATP checking is required.

Hello,

In make to order you will have the sales order specific stock ATP check will be required during the delivery not for the sales order Because production is closely linked to sales orders.

Display of ATP screen can be changed by settings in OVZJ.
