How the controlling area & cost centers are connected to the logical system in SRM system?

technically, you can check default provider class for SC or PO (/SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DEF_PROV_SC or /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DEF_PROV_PO😞 you will have methods /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_DO_ACCT_ASSGMNT~ADD_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT, /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_DO_ACCT_ASSGMNT~DELETE_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT, and /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_DO_ACCT_ASSGMNT~UPDATE_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT.

Hello,

if you have a real-time backend validation of FI data in your SRM system, controlling data come from the backend.

I do not have table name to give you, but check META_ACCSERV_CHECKACCASSIGNMT SRM function module for the check process.
