Dear all,
currently (in ERP) we are using the field "Temperature Condition" in the material master (view Plant/Storage 1) to maintain temperature conditions for shipments (and print them on forms). As far as I can see, this field is not transferred via CIF. How is the idea to handle such things in TM? Are we supposed to use the temperature fields in EH&S master?
Thanks for any ideas!
Hi Michael,
which TM release you are using?
I just checked and starting with TM 9.1 the fields TEMP_CTRL_MIN and TEMP_CTRL_MAX in the TRQ items are populated by the Inbound Agent for B2B TR Request (class /SCMTMS/CL_TRQ_TPNRQ_REQ_SRV method MAP_ITEM). Hope this helps.
Best regards, Daniel

Hi Daniel,
we're going to start with 9.3. Thanks for the hint. But I guess this is only intended for usage in FWOs (appears on UI there) and I can't think of how this would be populated in the ERP system, since the MARA-TEMPB in ERP is only a 2 char value with some descriptive text behind (no min/max values). This text (in our case) doesn't only contain temperature values, but also text like "Stir before use". Maybe we could simply transfer this as a text to TM then... But then it would be difficult to use this as a key for incompatibilities.
By the way: Isn't that the "standard" SAP example for product-product incompatibilities (icecream and chocolate or something like that)? What is the intention for modeling this? 😉
