Hi, In our dual stack system 731. When performing 'Check --> Transport Tool' the SDM Ping is failing with "com.sap.di.cts.deploy.api.exception.DeployToolCommunicationException: RemoteException: Server xxxx.com did not accept login"

The default trace file is showing

Hi Tariq,

Don't you think 5xxx4 is the wrong port. For SDM the correct port should be 5xx18.

Please check the below link and sap note..

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/76/fb72ec091f4bf8a2d8ba321bb7e8d9/content.htm

783965 - IDE cannot connect to SDM in a different domain

1732626 - Deployment Perspective cannot connect to SDM server

1737760 - CMS/CM Services/CTS DeployProxy cannot connect to SDM Server

If you wish to change the port for SDM you can achieve this by..

Path /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<instance_number>/SDM/program
Note the Content of the File localsdmgui.properties.
You can find the Property "workingPort" in that File and Change it to the Required Port.

Prithviraj.

Hi Tariq.

1. Could you share the LM-CTS component support package level ?

2. Just refer the SCN thread with same issue

did not accept login request as admin on port 5... | SCN
