Unable to enter Lumira license key

Hello,

When trying to input a License key in Lumira, the following pop up message is displayed: "Unable to enter the license key: Server Error". In the background, the following message is displayed: "No internet connection detected".

I can't find anything about this problem anywhere, though is seems like a problem that could potentially occur regularly. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

Review Chapter 3 -- on License Installation for Lumira

It sounds like the setup on your server can't reach the location of the file. Has anything changed in your environment lately (e.g. DNS, etc.) that would look for an old IP address assignment?

We're having the same problem.  Clients were all working several weeks ago, now when we open the program it gives us the error you listed above.

Attached 2 screenshots.  Internet connection is working fine.  This is version 1.25.1 build 24.

Just installed the same version along with our key on another computer and it works fine.

What broke on all the computers that this was previously installed and working on?

Hi Matt,

we were able to backtrack the problem: when adding a license key, somewhere on your machine, an 'ini' file is being modified. Our users did not have sufficient rights to modify this file. The admin account did not have this problem, as it had sufficient rights to modify the ini file.

Conclusion: make sure your user account have sufficient rights.

Thanks, but we're logged in as administrator while doing this.  Doesn't work as a Domain Admin either.  The odd thing is that the software was previously licensed and working as of December.  Now they all seem to be failing.

What version of Lumira?

What browser are you using?

Internet connection ok?

Check your proxy settings in Lumira.
