configuration for sap portal 7.4 & nwbc client

Hi experts,

we are developing  ESS & MSS Webdynpro ABAP applications .

Now we want to configure all apps into both portal 7.4 & NWBS client.

do you have idea what are pre-requests are required to configure both WDABAP ESS & MSS applications:

1. system components

2. Business pakcages

3.  standard roles

let me know  what options   and system components are required to configure in both portal & NWBC client.

My requirement is different.

what are the  options and software components need to check before configure sap portal  and NWBC.

for example : standard portal required for configure WDABAP ESS & MSS applications into sap portal.

like this ....is any things neeed to take care from sap portal and NWBC
