I have a requirement.

My sender is proxy.

I need to send a File and that will be emailed as attachment to xyz.com

Please help me on the requirement.

we need mapping for this?

Actually previously we are sending a file to another location, for that we have used variable substitution for file name with out mapping.

in addition to that interface, now we need to send a mail with file same file attachment to another location.

so mapping required or not required?

I need to send .txt file as attachment. and we will get file name from ECC, so we need to pass the same file name to attached file.

previously we have used variable substitution for file name.

See if you want to do something with incoming data , then you need mapping ..otherwise no.

coming to your requirement-- if you have file (.txt) in AL11 folder in ecc, you can use file adapter at sender side and receiver side mail adapter , and in mail adapter you have check the mark for attachments.

if your requirement is something related to pick the data from table and convertion, you should go for proxy, then proxy will generate xml file,

that xml you have to convert in to xml in mail adapter and and attach
