Usage of Prefix numbers maintained in 'Automatic Workflow Customizing'

Hi all,

Although i have maintained Prefix number as 999, none of my tasks or workflows begin with 999. So, please suggest, as to where is the prefix number used.

FYI< i have maintained this prefix number in SPRO->..>Automatic Workflow Customizing

Dear Plaban,

go to SNUM and check the number status of object GRACREQNO. It is possible to change the current numbe rmanually to e.g. 999000001.

Hi AB,

I understand that request numbers has to be given a manual range. But the prefix number is diff. from request no. Documentation in SPRO says, that the prefix number applied to workflow and task ids. But i could not find a workfllow or task id to have this prefix. However, could you suggest, on the package of this prefix number. Whether it is $tmp or transportable one
