Hi Ritu

first check GUI application connection proprieties  ( IP , SID , Instance number )
you can check login with the same user ID from another machine

you should be sure that the user not locked ( SU01 )
you should be sure that the user not actually login ( SM04 )

Hi Ezzat,

Now the problem is resolved after taking restart of database and application. Thank you for your great comment.

Hi Ritu,

1.In this above condition you have to login to your SIDADM and

Execute cmd with administrator privilege

navigate to  the profile directory

and execute dpmon pf=instance profile name.

you will see all work process check whether is it on HOLD state if it is in hold state kill / restart the wp

2.If problem still persists open your instance profile from notepad or notepad+ and check

login/disable_password_logon=2

if it is in 2 user logon is not possible via gui ,you have to change to 0

Make sure you have backup of profile parameter files before you change the value.

Hi Ritu

1. SAP Instance started?

2. Is the any issues in the network connection? Are you able to ping the Sap system from the client host?
