material and bin in cycle counting

Dear experts,

we want to do CC for signle material but after we issue the inventory list, we found other materilas are on the list.

the material is placed in a bin which allow multiple quants and the additioanl materilas are in the same bin.

we want to remove those material from the inventory list by delete their CC physical inventory indicator in plant data 1 view in material master (we want to have system think the other materials do not require CC) but they still shows on the list.

Is there anyway to remove thoes mateirials? or as long as a bin is selected, all the matereial in the bin have to be inventory?

SAP standard WM inventory process is by bin, hence all material in one bin have to be counted if a single one is due to be cycle counted.

If you want only count a single material then better  use the right transaction: LICC

I know this thread is old, but is there a method to exclude a bin from the cycle count process?

Dear,

Are you updated cycle counting indicator in all the materials of the bin? Cycle counting indicator is used to group all the materials in to various cycle counting categories.

When you want to have CC for only single material, kindly don`t update CC indicator in all materials in respective bin till you complete it.
