Training for next step

Hi Experts,

I am currently a PI developer, I had trainings on BIT400, and now I have opportunities to get more trainings. I am just wondering any trainings is good for me to take to enhance my PI skills or could expand my skill set around?

Can you give you some advise based on your experts' background and experience?

I really appreciate your input!

Hello Blue,

I would suggest to go with Cloud based things like Hana cloud integration or something like that

Even if you get a change learn odata,UI5 and all which are hot skills in market now.

Thank you very much Raghuraman!

So Hana Cloud, odata and UI5 still related to PI, right? Since I don't want to learn anything totally different from PI

Blue,

Hana cloud Integration is like PI (Cloud based Middleware).

OData comes under Netweaver Gateway(Another sort of middleware).

UI5 is little bit different. Its like User interface consuming OData at the front end,

Thank you so much Raghuraman!

So learning Hana cloud integration would be considered expanding my PI skills, plus both Hana and Cloud are in demanding, so probably I would go with Hana cloud integration first.

Hello Blue,

Yes, You can go ahead.

HCI is like cloud based PI. you can even see many questions raised regarding HCI here.

If you get more chances learn those skills as well.

Hello Blue,

We are moving this to the Training and Education forum. Only technical PI related issues should be posted on the PI forum.
