Extract Data From MySQL DB on Linux ARM Gateway to SAP HCP

Hi Experts,

In my current project i have a scenario where in i need to get the data stored in MySQL in gateways(Linux ARM) at customer location.

So can i use SAP HCI to get data from it, if so how.

or SAP HCP can use webservices to get data from gateways directly, if so how

This field is completely new for me and hardly have any knowledge to describe in detail.

Please help.

Hi,

Solution to your problem depends on whether the gateway has a public address: fixed IP or public host name that can be reached from HCP or not. If it can be reached, you can use HCI to pull data from the gateway. I would suggest you push data to HCP.

You should probably evaluate use of SQLAnywhere and Remote Data Sync Service.

Thanks for your reply. The gateway has a public address. Can you please help how can HCI be connected to pull data from gateway.

We are in process of procuring remote data sync too which is actually taking quite sometime.
