How to Disable "Generation of Delivery Items for Packaging Materials"?

According to the instruction above, in order to stop the Packaging material to be generated  as a delivery item.

I disable the"Generation of Delivery Items for Packaging Materials " in  delivery type.: LF

But when I processing PACKAGE in Delivery. the packing material still appears as a delivery item.

the picture is as follow.

why doesn't  the switch in LF delivery type take effect? 

are there any other factors should be consider?

Hi Michael,

You may take a look at SAP note:

831204 - Delivery items for packaging materials

Especially for the question 1, requirement 1:

Question 1 How can I get delivery items created for packaging material?

Answer: Delivery items are generated if at least one of the following two requirements is fulfilled. •Requirement 1 (valid for all releases):                   

  an Item Category is assigned to the HU header and
  Plant is defined for the HU header

If this requirement is fulfilled, packaging material item would always be generated in delivery.
