Budget Check based in Delivery date in PR

Hi Experts,

We have a issue where user is getting budget exceeded error while making a PR.
The user made a PR on 23rd December 2015 with delivery date given as 01.02.2016.

From the detailed analysis of the issue we found that..
1. The Availability control is activated for years.

2. There is sufficient budget in the year 2015 to make the PR.

3. There is no budget assignned for the year 2016.

Please can you let me know whether Delivery Date will also have an effect while checking for Budget.
If so please do explain the functionality.

Hi,

Yes, system will check for the budget based on delivery date in PR/PO. Though you are creating PR/PO today, you are supposed to pay on the commitment date/delivery date. You can change availability control to Overall years, if business agrees.

I shall ask for the user to assign budget for the year 2016 to proceed forward.
