Hi,

I tried to install SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.0 on windows 10 but I get the error message :

"Your operating system is not supported by SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.0....".

Is there one solution at this issue ?

Thank you for your help.

Yes, officially Windows 10 OS is not supported operating system for SMP server/SDK. You can check PAM for the same.

Oh wait, you can install it other way. Right click on setup file > Troubleshoot compatibility > Troubleshoot program > program worked in earlier versions of windows but wont install or run now >select any (or windows 7)

Note: As windows 10 is not an official supported OS for SMP server/OS, SAP may not provide any kind of support in case you encounter any kind of issues. #HappyLearning

Hi,

I not understand very well. In the list of your previous message,

it is indicate that Windows 10 is supported until 13.10.2020.

But I tried this solution by right-click and I get an other solution for alls versions :

#  EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x00007ffacefd89b2, pid=7096, tid=9400

#

# JRE version: 6.0_24-b07

# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (19.1-b02 mixed mode windows-amd64 compressed oops)

# Problematic frame:

# C  [ntdll.dll+0xa89b2]

The JRE version of my device is "jre1.8.0_65".

JAVA_HOME, CLASSPATH and PATH are configured with the JDK "jdk1.8.0_65".

Have you an idea ?

Thank you for your help.

Sorry for the confusion. My mistake.

For SMP server installation, windows 10 OS is not yet supported.

For Mobile SDK installation, windows 10 is one of the officially supported OS.

Can you check if your OS is 64 bit and JDK as well?

Hi,

the OS and JDK is on 64 bits.

I go tried to update the JVM of my device.

This the JVM version 6 that create the issue.

In the directory of SMP, the JVM version 6 is called.

I think that I must download and install the JRE SE 6 to install SMP 3.0 ?

I would suggest you to try with latest service pack that is SP10. Even if you have installed JDK 1.8 installed on your machine (i have the same on my Win10 system), you should be able to install.

Please try it and share your findings.

Note: This SP10 of SDK has sapjvm_7_jre folder in the mobile sdk installation but you really dont need to worry about it. Installer will take care of it by itself.

I have downloaded the free edition of SMP not trial.

But now I have downloaded the trial version and with sapjvm_7 all it's OK.

I have installed SMP with successfull.

The Free edition of SMP has sapjvm_6.

Thank you for your help.

Windows 10 is officially supported for development with the SMP Server SP10 release.
