Migration Issue PI7.11 to PI7.31

Hi All,

We are facing issue during migration via the migration tool . The ESR objects have been imported successfully but we are facing issues when importing the ID objects using the migration tool.

When tried with the tool it fails at the ICO level and ICO does not get created.

Error:- ICO Defined in Receiver interface does not match the signature of sender interface.

Also when we tried it creating manually in ID , it again failed as we are not able to find the operation mapping . It does not come up in the search help so we are not even able to do it manually since the opearation mapping is not getting reflected.

The sender is a Business system (SAP ) and the target is a standalone system - again a Business system.

Can some one please provide some inputs for the same.

Hi Amit,

We have faced the same issue in starting, just check the two things -

1) SLD setup in your new system(SWCV , Transport paths)

2) Operational Mapping and Message mapping signature tab. If they are using MT,SI from the same SWCV or anything else. Also, check the occurences.

Its better you compare old and new PI system ESR part which you have migrated, there might be some discrepancy due to which OM is not getting populated.

are you maintaining the SWCV association in SLD for this business system?

When you open your business system, you should be able to find all the interfaces associated with it in ID

you can also verify it under Other Attributes tab under your business system.
