Pre Task before HANA Migration

Hello,

We are planning to migrate our existing BW 7.40 system to HANA with Classical R3load approach. So Can We use STC01 for premigration tasks? If Yes ,Which task list I have to select ?

Or else which are the Pre tasks that we must do before HANA migration.

As pointed out in the other discussion, I would recommend to also take a look at with ABAP Post-Copy Automation for SAP BW.

Following 4 task list needs to be checked first using tcode STC01.If they are not there then implement them. Please refer note 1734333.

SAP_BW_BEFORE UPGRADE,

SAP_BW_AFTER UPGRADE,

SAP_BW_BEFORE MIGRATION,

SAP_BW_AFTER MIGRATION)

It looks like STC01 is specially for LVM. You may have a look at the documents below.

Thanks for your reply! I know it is confusing: although Post-Copy Automation as offered by SAP LVM is the most prominent use case of ABAP task manager, there are also other use cases that got automated with this framework that work without SAP LVM - please see for further details. One example would be the automated initial setup of ABAP systems based on SAP NetWeaver 7.4 and higher.
