Over charging of freight on sales order

I have an advance shipment sales order which is linked to a service order.The problem is that the freight is getting charged for every line item thereby increasing the overall cost. The business wants the freight to be charged just once on the total cost. I am unable to find a solution for it.Please help.

Could you please clarify what search string have you used when looking for a solution? Similar questions have been answered on SCN many times before. Maybe not specifically for the freight condition, but the condition's purpose doesn't seem to matter here.

Also - how about providing more details with the question, like your current configuration?

As per my understanding , you are putting freight in  Header condition .You can make it item wise .By going to condition type configuration in v/06 .
