issue while migrating interface from classical to ICo scenario

Hi All,

I am facing issue while migrating classical configuration to ICo. I am using migration tool in PO SB 7.4. while migrating it should convert XI adapter to SOAP adapter but it is not happening. The same case i have done in PO SB 7.3 and there it is working.

Hi Inaki,

As per the SAP note 2016626, we have PO 7.4 SP08 with patch level 000000. but still facing same issue.

Hello Gaurav,

Any error is thrown ? or just channel is not getting updated?

Hi Raghu,

As we know, we dont have XI adapter in PO 7.4. It is throwing error  Receiver Interface Rule does not match the signature of sender interface as we are not able to migrate XI to SOAP.

Ok. So you mean to say that we need to create SOAP channel for the XI adapter and migrate.

Gaurav Did you try creating SOAP channel(for Proxy) and check?

Hi Raghu,

yes, i have tried after creation of SOAP(proxy) channel but getting error Operation defined in Receiver Interface Rule does not match the signature of sender interface.

Hi Raghu,

It has worked with new soap (Proxy) channel. Thanks for the input.

But it is lengthy process if we need to create channel for all XI, HTTP and Idoc adapter. Pls suggest if any auto change way.

I guess there is no option other than this.
